Beacon Hill in North Spokane is one of the few venues in Spokane that has updated their web site in the last 5+ years. Harsh. But true. Finding quality photos of the venues I’ve been reviewing has been kind of a nightmare. Which is why it was so refreshing to visit the Beacon Hill web site and to see that they have someone in marketing who knows what they’re doing, thank God!
Besides my fondness for their marketing campaign, I’ve heard fabulous things about weddings at Beacon Hill. The most common is “the views are amazing.” Which is a big plus. The other common comment is that there are a plethora of photo opps, which based on the below images, I totally believe!
I found some reviews off Wedding Wire.
“I can’t say enough good things about Beacon Hill Events. Everything was perfect and everyone raved about the food. We had a buffett at the reception and the caterers offered to dish up my husband and I, as well as our parents and grandparents. Wonderful! The best part is that I didn’t even realize they were there. What more could you ask for? Everything went off flawlessly without my being the wiser.”
“Our wedding was beautiful! They were quick to respond to questions, the facility was BEAUTIFUL! The food for our wedding was okay, but I have heard that it was amazing for other weddings. We paid about $6000 for the facility for 8 hours, food for about 150, and an open bar. The only thing I will say was at the taster lunch buffet in the spring (for people to try out food and decide what they wanted at their wedding). It was completely unorganized and we did not get to try everything. Other than that, I would recommend them to everyone! Beautiful place and amazing staff.”

Rachel, I LOVE this blog!! Tyler and I just got engaged a few weeks ago, and all of your posts have been so helpful, especially this one about Beacon Hill. I have always thought this was such a gorgeous venue, but I thought it would be way out of our price range. I can’t believe your reviewer got the venue, food, AND bar for $6000. Tyler works at Barrister Winery, and they exclusively work with Beacon Hill. We LOVE their food, and the staff is so nice.
Thanks again for all the great information!!! Hope you guys are doing well!
Thanks Erica, I’m glad it’s useful for you! And congrats on your engagement! Let me know if there is anything/anywhere specific you’d like reviewed. I will see what I can do!
I had my wedding at Beacon Hill in October 2007 and I can NOT recommend them more. They were soooooooo wonderful to work with, and Lindsay Murphy (the coordinator) was hands down fantastic! The food was AMAZING (and living out of state, we didn’t get to taste test before hand — but the butternut squash got rave reviews from guests!) and she ran the whole day so smoothly, I didn’t even need to think. We also were a bit primadonna, asking to break the rules and have our dog there for both ceremony and reception (off leash!) and after meeting him, they gave us the thumbs up! And when we found the Fall air to be a bit TOO brisk for our planned outdoor reception, Lindsay and staff effortlessly transformed it (and the DJ) inside within minutes — MINUTES!! MID-RECEPTION! Plus they have a fire pit for smores… can you ask for more?
Like the other bride, I think our total tab for about 140 people was around $6k — and if it wasn’t, it was because we covered unethical amounts of booze for our guests, plus extra passed trays of food and splurged for the china cake cutting service, a few extra hours and the raspberry champagne toast! <3333
