I think I may have found the coolest summer wedding in the history of the world (or at least this decade)! This delightful summer soiree is the wedding of Hank and Mandi at Rose Lake Lodge on Rose Lake, Idaho taken by my latest photographer obsession Whitney Tampien of Flat 4 Photography. I think the thing that makes this wedding stand out so much is just how cool it is. I mean…there is a guest wearing a bow tie…a bow tie!
There is a tendency for weddings these days to become overly styled, where the focus of the wedding is on all the ornate details instead of the couple and their guests. Hank and Mandi’s wedding is the perfect example of how beautiful a wedding can be without being contrived and overdone.
Rose Lodge is a holiday rental and not regularly a wedding venue, but will occassionally rent their property for weddings.
Whitney of Flat 4 Photography is one very talented (and very nice) photographer, I was so excited when I came across her work. I love seeing such quality in the Spokane area, it makes my day. She also has an awesome vintage photobooth, check it out here! See more of Flat 4 Photography’s work at www.flat4photography.com.
I couldn’t find a web address or information on Rose Lake Lodge, does anyone know if they have one?

Cool pics. Where is Rose Lake? Never, ever heard of it before.
Thanks for the comment! I’d never heard of Rose Lake either, but my sources tell me it is in Kootenai County, close to Coeur d’Alene Lake. Looks amazing though!
I’ve had them on my “must check out vendor” list, great to see them featured on your blog!
