Barrister Winery Inspiration Shoot by Matt Shumate: Part 2

So here is round two of the Barrister Winery inspiration shoot featuring this all star cast of Spokane/Coeur d’ Alene vendors…

Barrister Winery- I gushed about them in yesterday’s post, but FYI this is one of the coolest Spokane wedding venues. I promise.

Matt Shumate Photography- Matt’s work speaks for itself, but besides being one very talented photographer he is also a genuinely nice guy who does just about anything necessary to make his brides and grooms happy. I’ve seen him climb ladders, hang from rickety rafters and stand in the cold all to get the perfect shot. Which he always gets.

Floral Design and Home Decor- Angela Austin is a Coeur d’ Alene based florist and the genius behind our stunning bouquet and centerpieces. I told her the direction I was hoping to go and she went far and beyond my expectations. They were perfect for our modern theme!

Shasta Hankins Freelance Make-up- If you know anything about the make-up scene here in Spokane you have probably heard of Shasta. She is one of the few mobile airbrush make-up artists in the area and also has a very impressive resume, including time spent at The Make-up Studio. She is great at what she does and is also a lovely person to work with.

Lindsey Wilson Hair Stylist- Shasta recommended Lindsey from the K Salon as out hair stylist, and boy am I glad she did! The hair styles were perfect for each look. Lindsey loves doing weddings and will travel to do whole bridal parties.

Carli Marie Design- Coeur d’ Alene based Carli Schultz was responsible for our stationery. She e-mailed me a couple weeks ago introducing herself and the second I saw her portfolio I knew she would be perfect for our shoot. I told her the theme and she designed a stunning invitation suite!

Gowns and Tux- We had two wedding dresses provided by Storybook Bridal in Coeur d’ Alene. I was looking for unique dresses that had a modern feel and Storybook was one of the few who fit the bill. If you’re looking for something trendy and fashionable, I highly recommend it! The tux was graciously provided by the Tuxedo Gallery on 2nd Street, downtown Spokane.

Finder’s Keepers- I posted last week about my new obsession with Finder’s Keepers. But seriously it was one happy day when I stumbled into their jewelry store. If you are looking for ANY bridal jewelry they should be your first stop.

And a big thank you goes out to our incredibly patient models, Erica and Tyler who were poked and prodded, stood in the freezing temperatures and smiled for hours to get these shots!
