Last Saturday night I visited Nectar Tasting Room on Stevens and Main downtown. With live music, great service and flowing vino from 5 Washington wineries, the atmosphere is really unique for Spokane. The emphasis is on local, but the setting is stylish and something you might find in a bigger city which strikes a perfect balance for Spokane night life.
But for me of course, it was all about the wedding potential in the space. It has exposed brick, dark wood, clean lines and you really can’t beat the location, so like any wedding blogger worth their salt, the first thing I thought of was “do they do weddings here?!” So I asked the girl behind the bar, who told me that she did her rehearsal dinner there, and she thinks that for the right person a wedding might be a possibility. It would need to be a small wedding, but for a rehearsal dinner the space would be PERFECT. Nectar just opened in January so I’m sure events are not the first thing on their priority list, but if I was getting married in the next 6 months I would definitely contact them about the possibility!

We definitely do events in the space. We can accomodate up to 70 seated and up to 100 with mixed seating and standing. We only rent the space on days we’re not normally open for business (currently open Thursday – Saturday).

Ooooh, this is LOVELY. I’ve driven by a couple of times, I should really stop in and have some wine. Mmmm.
I would recommended Nectar to anyone I know or do not know!!! Very classy and beautful tasting room and it would be great for a small wedding or small gathering to celebrate a special event. Outstanding management and ofcourse you will not be dissatisfied with the wine that is supplied by the winerys involved with this tasting room. Go try it out, I promise you will return!!!!!!!!!
