Top 5 Spokane Wedding Venues for Summer

It’s Spokane wedding venue week on Apple Brides! This week will be jam packed with information on/about/for Spokane and Northern Idaho wedding venues.

First up, is the top 5 summer wedding venues in the Spokane area. Before we get started I must preface by saying that this is MY top 5, and even though I think I have a fair bit of knowledge on the area’s wedding venues at this stage, there are probably many more awesome venues that could be on this list, which you are more than welcome to share in a comment! The criteria for being a top summer wedding venue were simple. First, the venue must have an outdoor area. Second, the outdoor area must be beautiful. Third, the venue must have options for bad weather. And lastly, the venue must have well developed wedding packages with a coordinator and proper event facilities i.e. bathrooms, kitchen and some sort of indoor area.

So without further ado, here are the top 5 summer wedding venues in the Spokane area (in no particular order)…

1. Belle Victorian Gardens

Usually when you think of a summer wedding venue you think of a rustic cabin by the lake or a barn in the field, which is why Belle Victorian Gardens is a breath of fresh air. This venue is romantic, elegant and offers summer brides options outside the rustic wedding theme. The Victorian era house, the manicured gardens and beautiful country setting paints the perfect background for a sophisticated garden party, a theme which can be hard to find in these parts. On top of all that, owners Pam and Larry are some of the nicest people on the Spokane wedding scene!

2. The Pavilion at the Spokesman Review Building

With stunning city views, a rooftop terrace and central location the Spokeman Review Building is quickly becoming one of Spokane’s wedding hot spots. I think this venue would be cool anytime of year, but it would really shine in the summer months when everything is green and you could enjoy the rooftop for longer. And even though this one is breaking the criteria slightly because I’m not sure how good the facilities are and how inclusive the wedding packages are, it’s hard to say no to such a chic city setting!

3. Coeur d’ Alene Resort Weddings

Talk about options! Whether you want to get married on the golf course, the roof, a function room or a cruise around the lake, the Coeur d’ Alene Resort has something to suit you. Not only does the Resort offer endless options, but it does so in one of the most beautiful settings in the entire Northwest!

4. Green Bluff

If we’re talking summer wedding venues in Spokane then of course Green Bluff has to make an appearance. What I have previously nicknamed the Tuscany of Spokane (a name I am still hoping will catch on…) Green Bluff captures a lot of what brides in Spokane/Coeur d’ Alene are looking for. The setting is stunning, it’s all about the local AND it’s stylish, a winning combination! There are several options on Green Bluff but I think the best are Trezzi Barn and High Country.

5. Beacon Hill

Last but certainly not least on the list is Beacon Hill. This venue has truly become one of Spokane’s iconic event facilities.  The views are amazing, it has indoor and outdoor options and the staff and wedding packages are unparalleled, but I think the main reason Beacon Hill has really captured the hearts of Spokane brides is because they have actually bothered to keep up on modern trends in weddings. And in the days of a thousand wedding blogs, wedding magazines and brides who are more active than ever, this is vital!
