I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. Flowers are my favorite. The first thing I look for in a wedding is the bouquet shot. I think the whole idea of wedding flowers is incredibly romantic, I mean when else do you get to carry around a LITERAL bunch of fresh flowers gorgeously bound and arranged?!
I’ve tried and tried, to no avail, to think of excuses where it would be necessary for me to be holding a bouquet in my life…and I’m sorry to say, outside of a wedding, there aren’t any.
Which is why I jump at any chance to call a florist. A couple weeks ago Beacon Hill asked me to have a table at their wedding tasting. Which was just the excuse I was looking for to bring some fresh blooms in my life. I called Jenna from Fleurtations Floral. And wow. She brought a whole display of floral perfection. They were so unique and artistic that brides, mothers of the bride, maids of honor and even a dad or two were puling out their cell phones to take photos of them!

I have no qualms in saying that Jenna is definitely one of Spokane’s most stylish florists. She knows what’s trendy and she knows how to translate those trends for real weddings. I told her the general idea of what I wanted for my table and she ran with it in a direction beyond my wildest hopes and dreams (yes, a wedding blogger dreams of stuff like that…)!

With a background in fine art and a certificate in floral design, Jenna knows the fundamentals of design and color and works hard to make her creations more art than just a typical floral display. She doesn’t use boring filler flowers and goes above and beyond the call of duty for her clients. She went out of her way to deliver my flowers and was right on time, never underestimate the value of a vendor who shows up on time!
