I love inspiration shoots. It’s one of the best ways for you to see what wedding vendors are really capable of. This is our autumn inspiration shoot at Beacon Hill from earlier this summer, and I love EVERYTHING about it. This shoot, maybe more than any of the others I’ve done, really strikes a chord with my aesthetic. I love the elegant table scape, I love the rustic undertones, the gorgeous Beacon Hill setting and how beautifully Rebecca Hollis Photography captured the essence of the theme. Rebecca is one of my favorite photographers. She is so easy to work with and always creates truly stunning photos.
Beacon Hill was the inspiration for our autumn theme. Even though Beacon Hill is one of the best summer wedding venues in Spokane, it’s just as beautiful in the fall with its’ stunning views, mature trees and warm interior. They have excellent facilities for indoor ceremonies and receptions. Lauren and Beth from Design by Occasion helped me turn my concept into reality by choosing colors and textures that were reminiscent of fall, but not the cliche orange, brown and yellow. They did a fabulous job working with Carissa from The Art of Flower to make the table completely stunning from top to bottom.
I also want to thank my sister Jenny, who graciously agreed to be our bride model. It’s not easy having a wedding blogger for a sister…but it IS awesome to have a beautiful sister when you’re wedding blogger!

I am SO glad you like the dress because it’s actually my wedding dress! We needed one last minute so I dusted her off and brought her out for one last outing! It’s a Vera Wang gown that I got a sample sale. I can’t remember the exact name of the dress, but it’s a modified mermaid cut with a French lace…I found this listing on PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com that I am 99% sure is my dress…
