I think Emma and John’s wedding might be one of my favorite weddings of the year! The Indian details are so beautiful, the bright colors are gorgeous and the couple is ADORABLE and has the cutest story ever. John is from India and Emma is from Idaho, so the two focused on integrating their two cultures, which they did perfectly.
Amber Glanville was the photographer, so of course the photography is stunning, and the venue was a private estate in Hayden Lake. Here is a little about the couple from Amber:
John and Emma have such a great love story. They grew up on opposite sides of the world and met in India, in the town where John lived. Emma was there for a few months – she had a connection in that particular part of the country and wanted to spend some time volunteering overseas before starting graduate school. They met at an English-speaking church in the area where John led worship… and the rest is history. They began a very-long-distance relationship which shortened to a semi-long-distance relationship after John moved to Seattle for school last year. I love their story because it goes to show that even if you’re oceans apart, if you’re meant to be with someone, your hearts will eventually find each other.
Not only do Emma and John have a beautiful story, but they are two of the loveliest people in the world. It was a treat being at their wedding. The entire day was filled with joy and love as their families came together to celebrate with them.
They were married in a beautiful ceremony in the backyard of family friends out near Hayden Lake. This was their second ceremony – they returned from a trip to India and their first ceremony just a week before their wedding here.
