Kicking off Monday with a great one!
One of my absolute favorite things is when a bride who was a reader of Apple Brides during her engagement submits her wedding to be featured. So, one day when my inbox yielded an e-mail from the lovely Sara with photos of her wedding to Travis I couldn’t wait to share. She is a girl after my own heart, donning a killer Vera Wang gown from David’s Bridal and shoes by Badgley Mischka, her bridesmaids in stylish dresses from J.Crew and a wedding with an romantic elegance theme….at a winery! If you ask me, it really doesn’t get better!
Of course with a setting like Arbor Crest Wine Cellars, you really can’t go wrong, especially when Free to Live Photography is taking the photos! Be sure to read Sara’s blurb about how she planned her wedding at the bottom of the post…
From bride, Sara…
“Travis and I are high school sweet hearts who attending Gonzaga Prep. We dated for 13 years before we finally said I do! We endured four years of long distance relationship while I stayed and attended college at Gonzaga University and he went to school for a full ride wrestling scholarship at University of Nebraska. Friends and family mean the world to us so our wedding was filled with lots of love from high school friends, coaches, college roommates, and college wrestling teams among many many family members and other great people. We were so honored to have found some great vendors that help create a dream wedding. Amanda Panagos from Posey and Bloom was brilliant in her design of our arch for the stage for our vows, bouquets, and all the other flowers. Matt and Jess Carroll from Free to Live Photography did an amazing job capturing the mood and ambiance in their photos. And we had amazing entertainment. We were able to get Gibliano Brothers to perform with two pianos up on the croquet court for our great dancing music. We also did some of our personal touches, such as not seeing each other before the wedding but still took photos at the Resort in Coeur d’Alene with a pole hiding us while holding hands, we made our own sweet table for wedding favors, my husband and his father made our wood cake stand and my husbands childhood best friend married us.”

Really really beautiful! Love that venue!
Travis and Sara have had a long and wonderful courtship. We enjoyed watching them prepare for the wedding as they worked on some of the decorations together. They were so patient and helpful to each other, even thou they were on a tight time line. This wonderful celebration was definately a reflection of both the bride and groom.
