How long have you been in catering?
Mangia Catering was founded in 2007.
What type of food do you specialize in?
Learning most of my culinary chops in two Italian restaurants my cooking style is heavily influenced with Italian flavors.
What makes your food and service unique?
We create food that leaves a lasting impression by using fresh, restaurant quality ingredients, taking the time for every last detail of preparation. It’s all made from scratch, no corners are cut.
All of our menus include delivery, setup, take down and buffet attendants.
What is your favorite/most popular dish?
Each genre of food we cook has its favorites. People rave about our pesto tortellini. We make our basil pesto from scratch as well as our alfredo sauce. Our stuffed chicken breast (filled with bacon and mozzarella) is topped with a delicious Dijon cream sauce. The stuffed mushrooms are filled with five cheeses, Italian sausage and spinach. The owners favorite are potato cups. They are stuffed with cream cheese, cheddar, bacon and garlic then baked and topped with a creamy garlic sauce and fresh chives.
Do you do custom menus?
Yes, we sit down with every client and educate ourselves on their needs, budget, location etc. We customize every menu to their event. We list “sample menus” on our website only to give our potential clients an idea of our style of cooking. Our goal is to make the process as easy as possible without giving the client a cookie cutter menu.
Can you cater for special dietary needs?
Yes, we can usually accommodate most dietary needs.
What price does your menu start at?
We work with everyones budget, that’s the great thing about customizing menus for clients. Typically most of our simpler menus start at $10-$12 per person.
