Coeur d’ Alene based, Michelle Nagle Photography is one of my favorite photographers in this area. Michelle and fellow photographer, Harmony, have such a unique perspective with their work. They create photos that are both fun AND beautiful, which can be a hard balance to strike. I’ve featured their work a lot on Apple Brides, but was fortunate enough to meet them in person last week for the first time. Let me just tell you, two nicer girls you won’t meet! So let me just sum this up. Beautiful photography. Wonderful personality. And…get ready for it, a great price too!
Here is an interview with Michelle about her work and style…
How long have you been in photography?
We’ve both been taking pictures as far back as we can remember. Professionally? Around 3 years.
Why did you decide to go into wedding photography?
At first it started out as a favor for a friend, and then a friend of a friend…and then it turned in to something more. Also because we have a blast doing it. Seriously.
How would you describe your style?
Vintage, candid, in the moment, fun.
What is your advice for brides and grooms looking for a wedding photographer?
Find someone you get along with and who understands your style. Have pictures taken before the actual wedding so you are able to see how the photographer works and if they work well with you.
What makes your photography unique?
Every wedding we shoot is different. We don’t have a list of canned shots that get checked off one by one. All pictures taken at a wedding are specific to THAT bride and groom, their personalities, the location, the decorations, the weather, the families, the wedding party, etc.
What is your favorite part of a wedding?
Watching everything unfold. Seeing the bride and groom’s love for each other and being able to capture it. And the dancing. Oh, we love the dancing. (Sometimes we’ve been known to bust a move on the dance floor – while taking pictures, of course)!
What is included in your packages?
All packages include an engagement session, a beautiful album, all day wedding coverage and two photographers.
And what’s your price range?
Packages range from $1300-$2500. However, we can certainly work with those on a budget.
Will you travel?
Of course!
