The Highland Gardens is a venue in Deer Park located just 17 miles from Spokane on 10 acres of gorgeous scenery, a large pond and manicured gardens. With the flexibility of choosing your own caterer, a low price tag and a team dedicated to giving you great service, The Highland Gardens is an ideal spring/summer or fall wedding venue.

What type of wedding does your venue work best for?
We are an outdoor venue, so the type of wedding that Highland Gardens works best for is a spring, summer, or fall wedding. Those seasons are perfect for capturing the magic that only a garden setting can offer. Spring weddings have all the lush new greenery, the sweet scent of hyacinths and peonies, and the excitement and beauty of a new beginning. Summer weddings enjoy warm evenings, full gardens, and bright, brilliant skies. Fall weddings delight in the gorgeous autumn tones of the changing trees and the gardens being at their peak size having grown all season. No matter what the season, Highland Gardens lends to a whimsical, romantic feel. With its lovely gardens, tall grasses, scenic tree lines, ponds and fountains, breathtaking birch trees, and abundance of twinkle lights, your wedding will surely dazzle your guests. With all its stunning natural beauty, you just can’t beat the location.
What makes your venue unique?
One of the many unique qualities of Highland Gardens is that with the location you get such a diversity of outdoor beauty. For pictures you have the option of reflection photos, wheat field style photos, gardens, an old barn, birch trees, pine trees, different seating areas, and the list goes on. For indoors you have a lovely bridal suite and 16-foot windows with fantastic diffused light. We are conveniently located off of HWY 395 between Spokane and Deer Park, but yet we are just far enough to be nestled on 10-beautiful acres of country side.

What are your catering guidelines?
Our catering options are open. You can provide the caterer of your choice or self-cater.
We have a lovely pergola that sits in front of a natural spring pond that’s filled with turtles and fish. The backdrop also includes cattails and a scenic tree line.

What is your advice for couples planning their wedding?
Try not to lose sight of why you’re getting married. Stress often takes over the experience and the meaning gets lost. Take one evening a week off from wedding planning and do something as a couple you used to do before the engagement. Try to revel in this amazing time in your life. Please remember all of the details will seamlessly come together on your wedding day. You will look radiant and it WILL be a dream come true!
