If you want more than just the cookie cutter ballroom wedding, choosing the right venue is vital. You should choose somewhere with character, that sets a scene and offers something unique. And I would argue few places in the Spokane/Coeur d’ Alene area offer that comprehensive grocery list as well as Stillwater Ranch in Sagle, Idaho does. Set amongst wooded hills, Lake Pond O’Reille River and horse pastures, Stillwater is only 8 miles from Sandpoint and offers brides a truly unique wedding experience.
Choosing to have your wedding somewhere like Stillwater Ranch is offering your guests a little getaway retreat, without the distance. And since the venue is a real ranch, you can make use of horse drawn carriage rides for you and your guests, or sleigh rides in the winter…and amazing barn pictures (as seen in Rachel and Brian’s Stillwater Ranch wedding featured last week on Apple Brides!).
Stillwater Ranch owner, Bryan Ross, was kind enough to answer some questions about the venue…
