Giveaway time! Sandpoint wedding photographer, Matt Mills McKnight is teaming up with The Lodge at Sandpoint to award one lucky couple a 2 night stay at the luxurious hotel AND an engagement session!
The Lodge at Sandpoint is one of the premier boutique hotels in Northern Idaho. The beautiful waterfront property is located right on the banks of Lake Pend Oreille and offers visitors the chance to escape the city while still enjoying the complete luxury!
Matt Mills McKnight is an experienced photojournalistic wedding photographer who transplanted to the Inland Northwest from California. Matt is passionate about weddings and capturing the beautiful once-in-a-lifetime moments of each wedding day he attends.

Some “small print” and rules…you must be planning a wedding to enter this contest. The Lodge at Sandpoint will provide a Deluxe Studio room for two nights to the winner of the Applebrides contest. The winner will need to call the hotel to make their reservation and they need to state they are the Applebrides winner and are to receive two free nights in a Deluxe Studio. They can make a reservation any time between January 1 – June 27 or September 12 – December 31, 2012 or 2013. Please note incidentals are not included as part of the package so if they consume any beverages that are stocked in the room they will need to pay for those separately. One entry per person.

My favorite is Kate and Jasons engagement shoot in Seattle. It feel like Matt really captured who they were in these pictures. Like they were on a normal weekend walk around town and Matt was along for the ride. It really shows how thier life is together and I actually get that feel from all of his photos.

I think Matt has a knack for capturing the intimate moments which ultimately will be lifetime memories… not only for the couple, but for their friends and family as well. I enjoyed Kara & Andrew’s wedding photos; as I could clearly see the family’s connectiveness and happiness of their big day. I’m also a sucker for an outdoor, lakeside wedding, as that’s what I’m planning for mine. =)

Rachel and mike’s wedding was my favorite, especially the black and white photos and the shop of the bride with all her bridesmaids by the trees. Amazing! Francis and Justin were a close second, I LOVED the shot of them with the buildings in the background.
My favorite engagement on Matt’s site is Kate and Jason- I love the different and unique poses- the color and style of Matt’s photos are to die for! Seriously great work!!

I hate to be a moosh…but after looking at all of the albums my favorite is Kate & Jason’s wedding photos. The first reason is because this couple is completely adorable and look comfortable in all of their pictures and secondly, I’m originally from the area and wanted to get married at the lodge (so I am immediately jealous) but feared our guest list is too large (they only allow 150 maximum).
My favorite was Kate and Jason in Seattle! They had such fun and playful shots I loved it!
Rachel & Mike’s wedding is my favorite. Their personalities and the vibe of the wedding is literally flowing from the pictures. I love how ‘real’ the photography was.

My favorite is Kate and Jason’s by far. I think Im biased though since in those pictures I can see where my best friend got down on one knee and asked me to marry him- right in the middle of pike place!
Kara and Andrew were my FAV!! Their wedding pictures were just too sweet. My favorite shot is the one of the couple in a speedboat on the water…fun!! I also liked the pic of them getting in the water in their formal attire, I’m not that brave!!
