In honor of the fact that there are two major Snow White inspired movies coming out in 2012 (Mirror Mirror out this Friday, and Snow White and the Huntsman out in June) we’re bringing you some local fairytale inspiration! This Snow White inspiration shoot is brought to us by a host of awesome Spokane/Coeur d’ Alene vendors and was spearheaded by Mary of Mary Banducci Photography. Here’s what Mary had to say about the project:
“Fairytales have this wonderful, everlasting spirit. Their whimsical “Ever After” continue to make our hearts swell after hundreds of years. Fairytales are dreams coming true… Just like when the bride walks down the aisle. That first look on the groom, that first kiss as man and wife, those are dreams coming true.
My photography is inspired by those moments.
I ’m a romantic at heart and knowing two Snow White movies were coming out this year, I wanted to make my dream come true of photographing my own version. Of course, the first person I contacted was Alisa Lewis, who owns The Attic and Alisa Lewis Event Design. She is a good friend of mine and I love the vision that she brought to the shoot.
The second person I contacted was my sister Cari Anne. She was the perfect Snow White with her luscious Angelina lips, Disney eyes and beautiful aura. Cari Anne has been teaching English in Spain and was traveling home for Christmas with her boyfriend Adri (who is from Spain and who I knew would just be the perfect Huntsman). They were excited to participate in the photo shoot.”
