Last Tuesday some of the top wedding vendors in the Spokane/Cd’A area gathered for good wine, good food and very good company. It was the first annual Apple Brides Vendor Night!
The event was all about relaxing, hanging out and having a good time together before wedding season kicks into full gear. You may or may not know this, but we are SO lucky to live in a place with so many talented wedding vendors…who actually like each other! I’ve been working in this local wedding community for over 2 years now and it never ceases to amaze me how much the professionals care about you, your wedding and each other. We have the talent you’ll find in big cities, but here, you get it with a healthy dose of unpretentious, genuine, small town customer service. It’s rare ladies.
The event was held at the GORGEOUS Nectar Tasting Room downtown. Owner Josh Wade, who is also a social media consultant at nectarMEDIA, gave an informative talk about using the internet to grow your business. We also asked some of our Featured Vendors to showcase what they do, and they did…big time. Be sure to read the full list below the post.
Thank you Alisha from Haute Pink Photography for taking the photos!

Events like this only succeed if you’re working with the right people. And we definitely were.
The Nectar Tasting Room. We were lucky enough to hold the event at the STUNNING Nectar Tasting Room in downtown Spokane. This place is perfect for events! And the best news? They now host rehearsal dinners and receptions!
nectarMEDIA. Josh Wade, owner of the Tasting Room and Spokane Wine Magazine, is also a online marketing guru and has a consulting business called nectarMEDIA. He was kind enough to give a presentation about how to grow your business through social media. If you weren’t able to make the Vendor Night, Josh teaches classes regularly on everything from Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest. Call him!
The Attic. Alisa from The Attic and Alisa Lewis Event Design transformed Nectar’s barrel room into a swanky seating area for the evening. “The Attic Lounge” was full of Alisa’s pretty collection of vintage furniture rentals (all of which are available for wedding rental!). It was just perfect!
Amp’d Entertainment. Lighting is key for any event, so we asked Justin from Amp’d if he would hang his beautiful new bistro lights in “The Attic Lounge”. It was awesome. Seriously. You NEED bistro lights for your wedding.
Caterers. One of the perks of working in weddings is that you know all the best caterers. We were so delighted to have Azar’s Foodservice and Wolf Creek Catering provide yummy bites for all our guests. And for something sweet, Stefanie from Cakes by Stefanie brought in delicious cupcakes.
Papermade Invites. Lindsey from Papermade Invites designed our invitations for the event. Lindsey is a master at understanding how to translate an idea, we loved what she produced!
Haute Pink Photography. A HUGE thank you to Alisha from Haute Pink Photography for snapping all the photos for the night. You did a wonderful job!
Design by Occasion. Beth and Lauren from Design by Occasion brought the cutest favors for everyone to take home. They were apples wrapped with little jars of carmel and chocolate, yummy and adorable!
And thank you to all the wedding vendors who attended, it meant so much to us that you all came out. Get ready for next year!
