Jose and Liz were high school sweethearts who met at the young age of 14! Eight years later, they were saying ‘I do’ at the Shadow Lake Ranch near Prosser, WA with the talented Walla Walla based Melissa McFadden there to capture it all. A perfect little love story! There are some really sweet details in this wedding, the cake, the flowers, the dress….it’s all gorgeous. But I especially love the soft and sweet pink color scheme, yes to pink bow ties!
A little from bride Liz…
“Jose and I met when we were teenagers, I was 14 and he was 16. I was heading to my best friends (Jose’s cousin) quincearea . We did not meet until the reception, my friend introduced us and we kicked it off really quickly we were inseparable from that moment. We danced and talked all night. His uncle grabbed my dad and told him to meet his new son-in-law; little did he know at the time that he was right. A night kept going and we kept dancing he finally asked me for my number and a week later we were dating. We had a long distance relationship for the first 4 years and he would call me everyday with a calling card since neither of us had a cell phone yet and he would visit every weekend which was a 2.5-hour trip for him one-way. I wouldn’t change our teenage years for anything in the world, he is my high school sweetheart and my best friend. Sure, after eight years of dating and growing up we have had our differences and quarrels, but we have learned how to grow with each other and take each other for who we are, the good and the bad, because the good is worth it. Through it all, this is my happy ending.”

High school sweethearts! Love!! I love how they incorporate the pink with the grooms bow tie and bridesmaid dresses!! And how cute with that little boy holding the sign “Here comes the bride” Must suggest to others!!
This was one of the MOST beautiful weddings I had ever been to and it was an honor to be apart of this special day!! Everything was perfect! It sure was a fairytale!
