Some of my absolute favorite vendors are on display in Jacy and Justin’s wedding! From the gorgeous photography by Rebecca Hollis Photography, the styling by Alisa Lewis Event Design, the amazing florals by Fleurtation Florals, make-up by The Make-Up Studio, stationery by Papermade Invites, the gorgeous setting at the Spokane Convention Center and beautiful video by Rogue Heart Media, this wedding is stunning from start to finish! And Jacy found a lot of her vendors through Apple Brides, which always makes me very happy! Don’t forget to read her advice and wedding info below the post.
Up first, the video by Rogue Heart Media.
And now the pictures by Rebecca Hollis…
A little from Jacy about her wedding…
” To be honest, I started planning my wedding as soon as I created my Pinterest account. I decided my theme would be woven around trees. Being a yoga instructor, I was familiar with the Tree pose. My family has always been close knit so the family- tree tied in with it. Finally, being in love with Justin meant we were grounded together just like a tree with deep roots.
I had discovered several of the vendors I wanted through the Apple Brides web site. The first vendor I met was our photographer Rebecca Hollis. When I saw her logo at the time was a tree, I was captivated and thought meeting her was providential! She allowed me the freedom to develop the tree theme and even agreed to come early the morning of the wedding to take pictures of me and my bridesmaids doing yoga which of course included the Tree pose.
Then I met Alisa from the Attic who didn’t appear to flinch when I explained I wanted trees decorating the church sanctuary as well as at the reception. She made it happen! Alisa arranged to rent trees from a local nursery, covered them in burlap, then transferred the trees from the church sanctuary to the reception without a hitch! Besides being our wedding designer she also became our wedding planner and developed a timeline for the wedding day which became invaluable. Together with her assistant, Taylor, they kept things organized and running smoothly throughout the day.
Alisa introduced us to Jenna Carey from Fleurtations Floral. Right away I clicked with Jenna at a meeting Alisa arranged in her studio. Jenna showed us pictures of several of her floral bouquets and thought it would be fun to collaborate with Alisa.
We met the videographers at the Bridal Fair. We had heard about the couple from Rogue Heart Media but were excited to see them in person at the fair. From the beginning, Meg and Rob were so kind and professional. We really got to know them when they created our engagement video and wedding video. I am so grateful for their expertise and willingness to work with my camera-shy fiancé. Once we got to know them, we relaxed and added them to our family of vendors
These vendors became our core group of what I endearingly called my “Dream Team”. They were all willing to meet several times at the church where the wedding would be held and at the roof of the convention center where the reception would take place. We even shared a Wedding Pinterest board and all added our ideas. It was indeed becoming a collaboration of the best I could ever dream or hope for with my favorite team assembled.”
