This gorgeous wedding at the Blackwell Hotel is set on an August day and everything about this celebration is warm! Autumn and Erik’s wedding is full of DIY ideas crafted by the beautiful bride and awesome Spokane/CDA area vendors such as The Attic rentals, Sweet B Cupcakes, Scratch Catering and, not to mention, a flighty getaway by Brooks Sea Plane! This is what Rose from Urban Rose Photography had to say about photographing the day.
Autumn and Erik were some of the most relaxed and fun clients I have worked with. Their evident and genuine love for one another made photographing them such a delight. Their wedding and reception was held at one of our area’s newest venues, The Blackwell House in CDA, which is quickly becoming one of my favorites. They chose to incorporate many local and DIY elements to their wedding such as the sand candle jars, made with sand from local Sanders Beach. The ceremony programs were made by the Bride and Groom, as well as the custom wine labels. The bouquests were all local flowers from Beehaven Farm picked by the wedding party. This wedding was flawlessly brought to life by non other than the talented Alisa Lewis, she makes planning and coordinating so stress free. All the vendors involved were a delight to work with. Colorful, fun, and genuine are the best words to describe this sweet August wedding.
