We see a lot of vintage style in the world of weddings, but rarely do people commit to the concept as much as Shauna and Phillip did for their engagement session! From the camper, the props to the wardrobe (hello, perfect 1960s dresses!), this session is vintage through and through. And I’m loving every minute of it. Shauna got her gorgeous 1960s frocks at Blue Window Vintage in Walla Walla. The photos are by Walla Walla based husband and wife team, Wilton Photography, who are making their first (and I hope not last!) appearance on Apple Brides. The photography perfectly fits the style of the shoot.
Here’s what Wilton Photography had to say about the shoot.
“Couples like Shauna and Phil make me so happy! They are so unique that it doesn’t even occur to them to think inside the box. With their mutual love of theatre (you should hear Shauna sing!) it was natural for them to fill their engagement shoot with vintage props and clothing. The couple chose Shauna’s parents countryside home as their location. Shauna found two fabulous 60s dresses at Blue Window Vintage and they gathered together all the fun 60s props they could find. The result was a whimsical vintage camping theme with the family cat (also named ‘Phil’!) occasionally putting in an appearance.”
