We’re kicking off October (my personal favorite month of the year!) with an adorable DIY wedding by the amazing Whitney from Flat 4 Photography . Kirsten and Tom planned a beautiful day at a gorgeous new Green Bluff venue called Cannon’s Edge. Can we just talk about those views for a minute?! Wow! I think I will have to make a visit to this breathtaking new wedding spot.
Kirsten was kind enough to give us her best wedding planning advice below the post. Be sure to check it out!
Advice from bride Kristen:
“Plan for beautiful not perfect! Things will go ‘wrong’ or ‘different’ than you planned or dreamed. The reality is that very few if any people will relized that is not how it was planned. So be present and enjoy the BEAUTY of the your day!
Of all vendors, make sure your personality matches best with your photographer, you will be spending the majority of your day with that person.
Choose what you like, even if it’s different. We opted to have an ice cream truck instead of cake. Everyone love it and the best part is we *had* leftover ice cream!!!
Take a tylenol pm or benadryl the night before the wedding so that you get a good night sleep and feel rested.
Enjoy the beauty. Enjoy the blessing. Enjoy the day that your marry your best friend!”
