Choosing Your Bridal Make-Up by The Make-Up Studio

Many women are scared of getting their make-up done because they are afraid of looking like someone completely different. But a great make-up artist merely enhances the natural beauty that’s already there, so you still look like you, just a more glamorous version of you, which is really what you want for your wedding day. Today, one of Spokane’s top make-up artists, Julie from The Make-Up Studio, is giving us an inside look at some of her favorite bridal looks. We get to see the before and after of how she transformed these lovely women into stunning brides! She also has written a little about each look so you can see if it’s a good fit for your bridal style.

Lindsay: The classic “Pinterest” eye that pairs a light shimmer with a smoky eye shadow and black liner. With her dark hair and contrasting light complexion it made for a classic, beautiful look on her wedding day.

Ashley: This makeup style is a very popular request of brides wherein they want a warm, bronzy look on their eyes. The use of gold as a highlighter on the eyes paired with a bronze eye shadow, brown liner and lots of individual lashes was a great look for her evening wedding at the Barrister Winery.

Megan: Our beautiful blonde bride wore an ivory satin dress and had coral accents for her wedding colors. The look we created was warm and glowing with bronzer as cheek color and a coral lip stain for a fresh look. The addition of individual lashes made her eyes pop for the photos!

Jina: We created a soft smoky eye without shimmer, using browns and plums. When doing a smoky eye the lips can be more natural. The makeup photographed beautiful for both looks on her wedding day!

Jessica: This version of the “Pinterest”eye in purples and champagne is amazing on our bride that has big, beautiful green eyes. This dramatic look definitely calls for a full set of individual lashes applied with the longest in the outside corner.

Annie: This classic smoky eye with a with smudged liner works great on our bride who wore a beautiful ivory lace dress. Using waterproof products on our bride helped her makeup stay on through the laughter and tears!
