If there is one thing that makes us MORE giddy than a beautiful wedding full of meaningful details, it’s a beautiful wedding full of meaningful details and cute kids. Needless to say, we got pretty excited when we found Erin and Rob’s Beacon Hill brunch wedding in our inbox! It’s chock full of pinterest worthy ideas, and ADORABLE kids. Here’s what Erin had to say about their special day:
In the heat of August, we thought our guests would be most comfortable in the cool of the morning. We decided on a 10:30 am ceremony, We chose a brunch menu including a savory bacon and egg breakfast strudel (who doesn’t like bacon?), imported cheese board, orange glazed ham, savory white cheddar and sage scones, smoked salmon, bagels, a fruit display with yogurt, iced caramel lattes, mimosas with strawberries, mojitos, and our favorite -Beacon Hill’s signature bloody mary. Everyone raved about the food! On one of our first dates I was under the weather and he brought me ice cream, so in lieu of a cake, we had The Scoop come out with their truck and serve up unlimited scoops for all of the guests. It was a huge hit, especially with the children.
As a single mother for 5 years, finding love again was a pleasant surprise, and one I had never expected. My husband, Rob, took on the big job of being a parent to my 5 year old twins and 6 year old, all boys! Because neither of us had a wedding that included our extended family the first time, this time we wanted our wedding to be a “thank you” party for everyone who encouraged us to find love again and supported us along our journey.
