Pink & Red Bouquet Ideas by Dragon Flower Design

A good florist is like a good artist. They are experts when it comes to color, texture and style. A great florist will take whatever you envision for your wedding flowers and turn them into a beautiful reality. They also know how to take your budget (whatever that may be ūüėČ ) and turn it into exactly what you want. Christen from Dragon Flower Design did just that for Amber and Peter’s lovely wedding. She was able to perfectly translate the vintage look Amber was hoping for into these stunning red and pink bouquets, using local flowers! Here is what Christen had to say about her inspiration:

“This was Amber and Peter Ottoson’s wedding on July 6th, 2013. They had the wedding and reception on Amber’s father’s land in beautiful Tumtum, Washington, where she had grown up. She was going for a vintage look and loved peonies. I was able to get them locally and used them in all the bouquets. Some of the other flowers I used were: hydrangea, roses, ranunculus, calla lilies, dahlias, lavender and dusty miller. I rented the vintage blue mason jars from Rustique Occasions and the gold mercury votive candle holders from The Attic.”
