How long have you been in the rental business?

We will be celebrating our 30th anniversary this year.

What type of Rentals do you carry? 

We are not your typical Rental Company although we carry your typical staple items: Tables, Chairs, Tents, Umbrellas, Canopies and such but we also carry a plethora of themed décor  items, along with lighting and material options. Whether you want classic, elegant, rustic, or contemporary, we have the means to make it happen without having to go to the expense of building it yourself.


Do you Deliver?

Yes. We travel and deliver to most places in the Inland Northwest; from Eastern Washington to Missoula, MT.

What are some of your most popular items?

White contemporary furniture, antique wooden cross back chairs, cigar bars, white market umbrellas, wooden bars, wooden barrel cocktail tables, lighting, specialty fabrics and design work.


What is your best advice for a couple planning their wedding?

I think we find the biggest problem area is that the bride and groom think they will have a lot of volunteers to help set up and take down their décor. Also, get as many of the items you need from one source, if at all possible. This will cut down time on your part coordinating sub-contractors and on your special day the amount of companies involved in ensuring all goes well. Also, work with experienced providers that can give you references, have set up successful events and have looked at or are familiar with your event site.


What makes your company unique?

 Design Events is unique in several areas. We provide many of the same services that a wedding planner would but it is part of the service we provide and not an additional charge. For instance, we always do a site check for placement of a tent and then create a layout so the Bride and Groom know exactly what their set up will look like. We check electrical availability, access and all those small details needed to ensure no delays or issues. Design Events is more than a rental company. Here, we take the time to understand the dream, the vision, the setting and we create that atmosphere. We are in between a rental company and a Bridal Consultant creating the best of both worlds for our clients.
