Happy 4th of July!
Something about the beginning of July makes it feel like summer is officially here to stay (for a while anyways ). Whether you’re heading to the lake, going to the fireworks at Riverfront Park or relaxing in your backyard, here are a couple ideas to make your 4th of July weekend extra special (and delicious).
Naked Berry Cake. The best thing about this adorable and festive cake is how simple it is to make. Just use your favorite yellow cake mix, top with heavy whipping cream and decorate with berries!
Reece’s S’mores. My friend told me about these….and I can’t even tell you how excited I am about them. Why didn’t I think of this sooner?!

Streamers and bistro lights. If you’ve been around this blog for long, you’ll know that I think bistro lights should be present at ALL outdoor events, including any and every 4th of July celebration! Add some red, white and blue streamers for a patriotic flair.
Found on the Liz Marie Blog.
DIY 4th of July Flower Arrangement. This fairly simple DIY floral centerpiece (my favorite kind of DIY!) would be perfect for an Americana wedding or your 4th of July bash!

Strawberry Basil Margaritas. I’m pregnant so I personally won’t be enjoying this (easy) and DELICIOUS strawberry basil margarita recipe, but I think you definitely should.
