Reader Engagement by Megan Robinson Photography

We LOVE it when our readers send us their engagements and weddings, especially when they are shot by one of our favorite photographers, Megan Robinson! Larissa and Tommy had a long distance relationship for 6 long years since she is from Canada and he was from Washington. Their dedication paid off and they said “I do” last weekend! We are so happy for both of them.

Here is a little from Larissa about their story:

“For six years, Tommy and I have been loving each other from a distance, since he is from Washington and I am from British Columbia, Canada. Our passion for each other has never changed but thankfully the distance has! I immigrated to the US on a fiancé visa in February 2014 and it has been a whirlwind of wedding planning ever since. We snuck in a last minute engagement session with our wedding photographer Megan Robinson and the experience was incredibly intimate. Not only did we walk away from the day once again completely enchanted with one another, we also enjoyed the opportunity to get to know our photographer and the feel for being in the lens, an unnatural spot for us both! Megan suggested a floral crown when we decided on Greenbluff as the location and Esther at Special Touch Florist and Gifts made one fit for a garden princess. The Cherry Shack is very reminiscent of my Canadian home and our times together on that side of the border, while the bridge shots at Riverfront Park remind us of all our American memories, since it was the location of our first date and kiss :) Altogether, we are thrilled with this session and feel as though it symbolizes our love perfectly in so many ways!”
