Good morning gorgeous friends and happy Friday it is. Let’s dive right in and talk about how awesome (or disappointing) the reception bar can be, modest wedding dresses, the happiest cakes you ever did see and a few more lovely things! Ready? Let’s go:

The bar without the hangover bill: The Pretty Blog shares some pretty awesome guidelines and tips for the big day bar. Just loving the vodka-soaked watermelon balls in antique ice cream glasses idea.

Science and romance: This wedding is proof that nerdy can be drop dead gorgeous. Don’t believe me, check out the amazing star seating map, the octopus details and the to die for succulent bouquets. Yes, I just mentioned octopus details…

Yay color! Bright and cheery weddings are right on trend this season and we can’t get enough of the color therapy that this Magnolia Plantation wedding provides. The bold and short bridesmaids dresses are pure perfection.
