Cedar River Weddings & Events has some fabulous package options for every couple.
Here is an interview to learn more!
Where are you located?
Cedar River Weddings is located just outside the town of beautiful Priest River, Idaho. (A quick 40 minutes northeast of Spokane.) Many people think of Priest Lake when they hear about our venue, but that is a misleading judge of distance. We want couples to realize that we are much closer to Spokane, Coeur d’Alene and the surrounding areas than that! Actually, we are an easy highway drive (and less than an hour away) from most locations … come out for a tour and find out for yourself!
What type of wedding does your venue work best for?
We host weddings for adventurous couples that appreciate the majestic natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Our weddings capitalize on our secluded riverside event space to create intimate yet grand events. For people looking for an outdoor venue with spectacular water views and easy access, our location is second to none.
What makes your venue unique?
Our wedding ceremonies are nestled under a forest canopy, wrapped in a warm summer breeze, and serenaded by the music Priest River’s dancing waters. We boast a river’s edge honeymoon cabin for the newlyweds the night of the ceremony … the only space of its kind in area! To make sure our events are exactly as you want them to be we allow outside vendors for all services, offer convenient on-site parking, and feature comfortable bride and groom dressing rooms.
In addition to the venue, we are proud to offer our clients the photographic services of Jeremiah Andrews Photography (when needed). Jeremiah has been a widely acclaimed and nationally published wedding photographer for more than a decade. By offering a combined package we are able to save clients over $1,000 … what couple doesn’t want an amazing wedding venue and expert photographer for a great price?
What is the capacity of your venue?
The venue’s maximum seating capacity is 110. Although the venue sits on 7 acres of private land, most of this land is natural and undisturbed. We limit our wedding sizes so that we are able to offer convenient on-site parking while maintaining an intimate setting.
What are your catering guidelines?
All outside vendors are welcome. No kitchen is offered at the venue but power and water is available and convenient.
Do you have a ceremony location?
Yes! Cedar River’s ceremony location sits on a grassy knoll overlooking Priest River. Our beautiful backdrop can serve as the ceremony site alone, or both ceremony and reception location.
What is your advice for couples planning their wedding?
My advice is to plan your wedding around your personalities… create an event that will reflect your love and flair for life. So many excellent opportunities exist for today’s couples to be as creative as they wish! Choose the venue and service providers who share your vision and are capable of following through on providing you with the quality you deserve.
What is included in your packages?
Most of our packages include: the venue’s use for 10 hours; tables and chairs (including set-up and tear down) for 110 guests; the honeymoon cabin for newlyweds; bride and groom dressing rooms; ambient outdoor lighting, and much more. We also offer a package, which includes photography and images at a substantial savings. Specific wedding price packages are listed in detail on our website (www.cedarriverweddings.com)
What is the price range of your venue?
Our most popular stand-alone package is $2,900, and our combined venue/photography package runs under $5,500. A military discount is offered and custom packages are available to fit most needs.
