Weddings are a special day for every bride and her family. We love creating unique designs with blooms that reflect the brides style and theme. Being studio based for the last 6 years has allowed Simplified Celebrations to take time with each client to educate on in season flowers, unique blooms, budget and design. We understand that brides often don’t know flower names or costs and love to be able to offer assistance and education. Based out of West Pasco, WA we easily service all of Tri-Cities, Walla Walla, Moses Lake, Hermiston and Yakima..

What made you decide to go into weddings?
We already offer custom floral designs for brides and got asked regularly if we did planning on the side so it was a natural addition as our name and reputation grew in our area.
Why should brides consider hiring a wedding planner?
Brides should consider hiring a planner because it is THEIR day! Their day to enjoy the details…their day to laugh… their day to make memories! We have the tools and the experience to make weddings and events run smooth. A bride doesn’t know what she doesn’t know. It’s likely her first time enlisting the services of a DJ, Bakery, Florist, photographer, and more so making decisions that are in theme with vision and budget can be daunting. Having a planner takes the guess work out of this equation. It’s like running a Broadway show with a different cast every weekend. This takes experience and the knowledge to troubleshoot when things like weather or a leaning cake get thrown in the mix.
What range of services do you offer?
We offer everything from a 2 hour consult of planning basics to full service concept to cleanup planning. All our packages are custom and pricing is based on each bride and the level of assistance needed.
What is your favorite part of the planning process?
I honestly have two parts… I love hearing an amazing story about how the couple met and that moment when the couple gets their first look of the venue and how every tiny detail came together while they enjoyed the experience.
How will your experience in weddings help the wedding plans go smoother?
Because almost all of the couples we work with are juggling full time jobs along with their family and social lives we get to take the “job” of planning out of the equation. We love pairing couples with the right vendors. We know firsthand how having a Dream Team on your wedding day is the difference in hiring people to do the job and hiring vendors that have experience and know how to work together for the couple.
How do you come up with the concept of a wedding theme for your clients?
Most brides have lots of input on the theme so I rarely start from scratch. It’s more about listening than anything. We review her Pinterest boards, look at wedding blogs, and show her pictures of real weddings from venues that she is interested in. This helps her form a visual of what her day can be and an idea of what looks appealing. Having a barn wedding at a mansion makes no sense just like having an elegant, regal, red carpet affair doesn’t work at a barn. Hearing what is important and helping her prioritize based on her budget is where we really shine.
