What type of wedding does your venue work best for?
Nectar is perfect for the small intimate wedding of 30 guests in our barrel room and up to 80 guests in our main space. Nectar is also a great venue for rehearsal dinners, receptions, bridal showers, post wedding brunches or intimate wedding family gatherings.
What makes your venue unique?
We are located in the Historic 1889 Building in downtown Spokane. The building is the oldest commercial building in the city. We are centrally located to all major downtown hotels and urban photo opportunities. The space has three room configurations to meet your event needs. We have combined the traditional old brick with warm wood tones and hard surfaces.
What is the capacity of your venue?
The Barrel Room hosts 20-40 guests, The Main Space hosts up to 80 guests. Combine both rooms together for larger gatherings.
What are your catering guidelines?
Nectar Catering and Events is an on-site and off-site full service catering company that can provide food to fit whatever budget and flavor profiles you are interested in. We do allow outside dessert in the space but no other outside food or catering. In addition to food catering we offer wine and beer bar catering ranging from fully hosted to cash bar. We have several options for wine and beer to fit your budget.
Do you have a ceremony location?
There are two locations in our building that work for ceremony locations.
What is your advice for couples planning their wedding?
Our advice for couples is to go with your gut. Don’t let outside influences affect the vision for your day. Do your homework, ask the good questions and enjoy the process!
What is included in your packages?
We like to price out our services in an ala cart fashion. You pay for the time you want, the food you need, and the alcohol budget you are comfortable with. Our on-site room rental rates include up to 2 servers / bar tenders, and guided planning and coordination. Day of coordination can be arranged for a fee.
What is the price range of your venue?
Our website outlines all the hourly costs associated with the space. Hourly costs range from $75/hr to $175/hr with a three hour minimum rental time.
