Ariel’s background in Graphic Design gives her a unique approach to weddings. As a Graphic Designer she worked with some amazing clients (such as Nordstrom) composing clients’ brands to convey their characteristics, personality and story. She approaches her couples the very same way. We think that’s why her visual storytelling is so intriguing. Of course the images are beautiful, but it’s so much more than that. In just one photograph, you feel you’ve picked up a small thread of the couple’s story leaving you wanting to know more.
We asked Ariel’s thoughts on choosing a photographer:
“We all know how important your own wedding day can be. A wedding marks the beginning of everything. And when you say your precious vows, dance the night away surrounded by the ones you love and eagerly take off for the honeymoon, all that remains are the story of your photographs. The material things of your wedding won’t compare to the emotion and memories of your wedding day.
“So the biggest question to ask yourself when you’re looking for the right photographer isn’t what Pinterest might be telling you, but instead should be, ‘Can this photographer capture our unique story?’”
Lindsey & Kris
“Lindsey and Kris had their backyard wedding in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho in the fall. Kris had a crush on Lindsey in High School, but it wasn’t until their mid twenties when their friendship turned into love. He proposed to her in a song as he played his guitar.”

Karaka & Sean
“Karaka and Sean were married in Sisters, Oregon. These two adventurous souls picked a destination wedding set in the beautiful Willamette National Forest where they had spent time many dates on their mountain bikes roaming the hills for the next exciting climb.”
Roman & Lily
“Lily & Roman’s destination wedding in Tepic, Mexico was nothing short of breathtaking. Despite the language barrier between us, they completely opened up their emotions and love through the portrait process. Love is truly a feeling that needs no words.”
Final thoughts from Ariel:
“Every client I’ve photographed over the last ten years embodies a story that is distinctly theirs. A good photographer can take pretty pictures. A great photographer can tell the beautiful story behind them. What’s your love story?”
