This garden engagement in Spokane is so cozy and sweet! We love this adorable couple’s obvious affection for each other, and their secret garden-esque shooting locale! Their proposal story is super sweet too.
The bride-to-be, shared “It was the month of November, and I was dying to go camping (we are outdoor junkies). Finally, we decided on a weekend, recruited both of our best friends, and hit the road. I didn’t know the destination, because my boyfriend wanted to surprise me. We all arrived at our spot, a beautiful camping area up in the mountains by the Canadian border, with a river rushing right by us, and lush pine trees all around. We set up camp, got a fire going, and bundled up to stay warm. Soon, to our surprise, it started snowing the biggest, most beautiful snowflakes I have ever seen, covering the ground in white. He took my hand and lead me to go for walk, to get some time alone. As we approached the shore of the river, he looked in my eyes and began telling me how much he loves me. I didn’t suspect anything, and thought he was just being a sweetheart like always. Until out of the blue, he got down on one knee, took out a ring from his pocket, and asked me to make him the happiest man and be his wife! I was taken by complete surprise, I couldn’t believe this was happening, my heart was beating out of my chest!! When I finally said YES, I looked up and saw both of our best friends hiding behind the trees with a camera, and at that point I couldn’t keep the tears in. This was the exciting moment to beginning our happily ever after together!”
