You’ve probably seen them all over Pinterest, Etsy, or at weddings you’ve attended. Signs are the perfect way to add a touch of personality to your wedding. From chalkboards, to rustic wood, to chic white and gold, you can customize them to fit your theme and style. Since there are a ton of options and it’s easy to get carried away. Simply Cedar is sharing their must-haves with us. Stick with these basics that will add the perfect extra something to your day.
1. Welcome
Having a welcome sign at the entrance to your venue will create that “butterflies in the stomach” feeling for your guests. It really helps to set the tone for your whole day!
2. Unplugged Wedding
There are not enough ways you can remind your guests that your wedding will be “unplugged.” Displaying a sign at the ceremony site will be a clear reminder for your guests to be present and enjoy the moment (sans phones or cameras!)
3. Cards & Gifts
Most of your guest will be bringing cards and/or gifts along to the wedding, so be sure to give them clear direction as to where they are supposed to put them.
4. Seating Chart & Table Numbers
If you’re doing a seating chart, it’s important to lay it out in a guest-friendly manner. We love a seating chart with corresponding table numbers to keep things simple!
5. Keepsake
Whether it’s a sign displaying your names and date or a quote that you love, having a keepsake sign from your wedding will be WAY more meaningful than a couple of cocktail napkins tucked away in a box. You can display it in your house for years to come and always be reminded of your best day ever.
