A Sunny Outcome for A Rainy Wedding Day with a Rich Color Palette

 September 26, 2018

It’s like raaaaain on your wedding daaaay– or so she sings, right? Although it’s considered lucky to have rain on your wedding day, it’s usually not ideal conditions. This couple ended up with sunshine on what started as a dreary day, but you’d never be able to tell from how fun their pictures are!

The bride shared where her planning inspiration came from, and her best advice for couples planning their wedding– “I have always known I wanted to have an outdoor wedding with tons and tons of flowers. After I got engaged I had about a year and a half to plan the rest of the details. I combed through magazines and websites like Apple Brides which inspired me to choose dark navy for the bridesmaid dresses, suits, and linens with accents of burgundy, pink, and gold….If you’re budget conscious, don’t go crazy buying all of the insane tiny decorations for details that no one will remember. Pick things that will make a big impact and focus your energy and resources there. Also, take your time and pick an amazing photographer! Your pictures are one of the only things you get to keep after the wedding and so it’s very important you pick someone that is reputable, does great work, and offers you options for your pictures. Because of our photographer Jerome, we now have an album that will be a family heirloom for generations.”
