From the photographer… “The bride and groom were both born and raised in Washington, but found themselves on the Hawaiian Island of Oahu doing humanitarian work for Youth With A Mission when they met. After a ocean view proposal, the couple returned to the northwest to be married. They said their “I dos” atop a forested hill at Lavender Manor just north of Spokane. A violinist played as the bride strode down the fern lined aisle to meet her groom under canopy of tall stretching pine trees. Their Christian ceremony included a symbolic foot washing and a prayer between the bridal couple and their parents. As the sun was setting on the fields, and Mount Spokane stood in the distant background, the couple and their guests enjoyed dinner and dancing under the strung lights. Before driving off to start their forever together, the bride surprised her groom with a stellar Star Wars send off that included a masked bridal party of their favorite terrestrial characters yielding glowing sabers.”
