Bozarth Mansion Wedding By Park Road Photography

 January 8, 2014

It’s so lovely when all the different aspects of a couple’s wedding fit well together. Jessica and Alex got married at the gorgeous Bozarth Mansion, Sarah from Park Road Photography was able to capture the warm and soft feeling of the venue and this beautiful couple and Jessica and Alex made sure to incorporate personality and thoughtful details to tie it all together. Here is what Sarah had to say about this special day: “I love when a bride and groom incorporate special traditions and meaningful touches into their wedding day, and Jessica and Alex did just that when they wed at Bozarth Mansion this fall. After meeting for their First Look, and just before their ceremony, Jessica and Alex took some time away from the bustle of their big day to plant a tree together, as a symbol of their unity and as a dedication to their shared interest in environmental advocacy. The tree also served as a dedication to their families, as they planted it with soil that was brought from their parents’ homes. After the wedding, they replanted the tree in the yard of the home they now share as a married couple, and my dream is for them to have photos taken with their tree every year on their anniversary, to document the growth of their love over the years!Jessica’s bouquet also served as a dedication to her family, and especially one in particular, her maternal grandmother. She carried a unique brooch “bouquet” down the aisle that her mother and aunt made from her grandmother’s extensive collection. They included some from Jessica’s mom’s collection as well, and added some that were purchased specifically for Jessica on her wedding day. Jessica shared with me that as a child she would sneak into her grandmother’s jewelry box to admire her brooches, and that they were strongly connected to her memory of her grandmother because she and rarely saw her without one pinned to her clothing. Her grandmother had planned to give a few to Jessica as a special gift, but unfortunately, she passed away before she was able to. Jessica’s bouquet was created to honor her and serve as a way to include her in Jessica’s special day. It doesn’t get more meaningful than that!”
