After seeing Kate and Leo’s unique planetarium engagement shoot yesterday, we were very excited to see their wedding photos from Emily Wenzel Photography come through our inbox. Not only is this wedding full of adorable details, but how incredible is the Cataldo Mission setting?! I think this historic venue has to be on of the best in the whole Inland Northwest. Emily did a fabulous job of capturing the beautiful background and even more beautiful couple! Here is a little from bride, Kate, about the wedding day: “I will say as a wedding photographer myself, I was overly concerned with just enjoying the day and being present in the moment. Hiring the right vendors really helped with that! I had amazing friends and family help me with setting up our venues, creating the decorations, and arranging the flowers. My beautiful mother made my wedding dress from several different patterns and fabrics we liked. David’s Pizza was incredible and delicious! They made custom pizzas onsite for us and people with different food allergies. My husband and I had an awesome time tasting and picking out different pies with White Box Pies (and seriously considered going back in disguises to try out more free pie!). Rider Ranch put up with our endless questions and requests, such as setting up our family trailer onsite or decorating the patio with white lights. Ben Bridge Jewelers helped Leo design my custom engagement ring, and helped us create meaningful and unique wedding rings. Bitterroot Brewery supplied the beer, and while we were sure we had enough, we ran out halfway through the night because it was so delicious! Our photographer, Emily Wenzel, and our videographer, Josh Wallace, did amazing work capturing our special moments with family and friends and putting us at ease the entire day. All of these people combined made planning stress-free and our wedding day absolutely perfect! My maid-of-honor had a bet going in to see when I would finally have a “bridezilla meltdown”. I can proudly say it never happened!”
