Today we are sharing Paige and Erik’s wedding at Elkins Resort, this wedding is extra special for a couple reasons. Firstly, the bride Paige works at one of the top beauty establishments in Spokane, Modern Apothecary, so she knows all about the wedding scene. Secondly, this couple’s snowboarding engagement session was featured on Apple Brides a while back (and it’s awesome!). And lastly, Paige really loved each and every one of her vendors. I mean really loved them. And I have to say, this girl did have the dream team. From Paige:“We were married February 2nd 2013 (groundhogs day) at Elkins Resort in north Idaho. Getting hitched in a lakefront lodge surrounded by mountains and snow personalized us as a couple! We felt we had the perfect wedding experience. Not every bride & groom dreams of getting married in the snow…but to us it was magic. Wearing snowboots & snowshoes for our “first look” was fun and made for beautiful photo’s. Saying our “I do’s” under bistro lighting and candle light was perfectly romantic. Instead of cake we served individual size ice cream & a dessert buffet. Our guests had a blast with our photo booth and “ski” themed props! Teal & blue lighting invited us to the dance floor! Every experience with the wedding day and planning was perfect!!!
