Ellensburg Library Wedding By J. Ronning Photography

 May 28, 2014

From the first look in the Ellensburg Public Library to the bride and groom walking down the aisle to the Zelda theme song (swords in hand!), Louis and Liz’s wedding is full of unique character. Jamie Ronning was the photographer, here is what she had to say about this special day: “There was much I would consider special about this wedding that made it uniquely Louis and Liz’s wedding. From having their “first look” moment in the Ellensburg Public Library to the bride and groom walking down the aisle following the ceremony to the theme song from the old video game, Zelda with wooden swords in hand, I was always on my toes anticipating the next fun and quirky moment to capture. But the most unique of all was the location; The International Order of Oddfellows building in downtown Ellensburg. This old and decrepit building had never seen a wedding in its day and as I went through my first walk through to check out the place I questioned exactly how this not so charmingly old building could set the stage for the beautiful winter wedding Louis and Liz envisioned. But I was proven wrong. There wedding did turn out lovely in the end and I greatly enjoyed shooting a wedding with so much thoughtfulness and character.”
