Industrial Rooftop Wedding in Seattle

 October 31, 2018

This gorgeous rooftop wedding is city chic at its best! The gorgeous couple planned every detail with intent and their planner shared some of those thoughtful details with us. “Alina and Tony are an amazing couple, whose wedding was filled with love, laugher, elegance, and style – one I would do all over again in a heart beat. Although these two have lived in several different cities, both as individuals and as a couple, Seattle has become home for them, and the city they knew they wanted to get married in. This decision and every other detail had so much meaning and thought put into it, ranging from the date – one day before Alina’s parents’ Anniversary, to the cocktails served a Jeff’s Margarita (Alina’s dad) and a classic punch for Tony’s dad, Tom.”

The bride told us a little about her planning vision, “We wanted to bring Sonoma to Seattle – my family lives in Sonoma and I’ve always loved how casually elegant and natural all the wineries and spaces are there. It’s simple and comfortable but elevated; the Olympic Pavilion embodied that perfectly with a nod to old world with the beautiful chandeliers and marble bar. Flowers and the right furniture enhanced the already great space and really helped us bring that Sonoma-esque feeling to life…My parent’s were kind enough to share their wedding anniversary weekend with us and they had been married in the same neighborhood 34 years before. To celebrate, I had a small replica of their wedding cake made at the same bakery they had used and we surprised them after with it after the speeches were done. We had even snuck their original cake cutting knife up to Seattle so they could use it, they were shocked and it made it so special.”
