Inspiration & Tips

There's no better way to celebrate an engagement in the Pacific Northwest than to go out and explore the beautiful spaces that are available to us to explore! This cozy engagement session has us dreaming of cooler weather (too soon?).

The bride shared how she got engaged-- "Jordan and I headed out for a weekend away on Whidbey Island. I had recently been promoted and we were going to celebrate and relax at the cute cottage right on the water. We love to cook and listen to music together, so on the night of the promotion we decided to go to the store and make a big feast. We got stuff to make crab legs, tabbouleh salad, steak, homemade mac 'n cheese, and dessert. Near the end of our cooking session, my husband grabbed his guitar and asked me to sing while he played. He asked me to grab the capo for his guitar so I could sing in my own range. After a few moments of confusion, I noticed the blue box sitting in his guitar case. A few words, laughs, and tears later we were engaged!"
