Sometimes it’s refreshing to see a couple that keeps things simple. Nadine and Eric had a gorgeous wedding, but they didn’t get caught up in all the extra details. They invited close friends and family to a picnic at Manito Park, which is such a gorgeous backdrop you really don’t need very much decor anyway! I think Manito is one of the best venues in Spokane for couples on a budget, you really can’t beat the setting and they don’t charge very much to use it (although flexibility is often necessary). Jackie Zurflah was the photographer for the wedding and she got some fabulous shots of the couple’s intimate but beautiful day. Here’s what she had to say about the day: “Family had helped make it all come together and have it be simple and a fun picnic gathering. I think that this wedding is unique, not because of the little intricate detail that went into it, but from the family and friends that came from far away, and the simplicity of the ceremony and reception. They didn’t need to spend thousands of dollars to be happy with the outcome. In the end of the day, they were husband and wife..and to them that’s all that mattered. Their love is inspiring to many, and shows that sometimes, simple and easy go a long way.”
