There’s something really wonderful about rooftop weddings and Ryan and Stephanie’s big day (or days but we’ll get to that) was no exception. We love that the groom had ‘groom’s people’, and that the bride made her own bouquet out of paper and of course the stunning downtown ceremony. This wedding is unique in the sense that it lasted for two days. The couple had the downtown ceremony on Friday and the reception at Northern Quest Resort & Casino on Saturday. A two day long wedding celebration? Now that a trend we can get behind! Photographer Brent Looyenga shares “The reception was also very different, as it lacked all the traditional aspects of a reception, they didn’t do a bouquet toss, garter toss, there was no cake cutting or toasts. Overall, a very simple, big party. It took place at Northern Quest Casino which also provided the food (which was great).”
