Few things are a better indicator of a good time than rave reviews from past brides and grooms. Today, one past wedding couple is sharing what they loved best about their time at Elkins Resort and why you should have your wedding there to!
People select their wedding venue for many different reasons. Whether it’s the special memories they have there, the gorgeous view it offers, or the full service packages, whatever sealed the deal for you and your babe is important! Elkins Resort offers all that, and more, and is a fantastic option for your wedding at any time of year, which isn’t easy to find around here!
For one winter bride, she was especially thrilled with her choice. “I feel REALLY lucky because Elkins (our venue), Thomas (our DJ), Jerome (our photographer) and Ryan (our videographer) worked so well together and were available for me to lean on for how things flow. They took a lot of pressure off of me to plan every little detail and even though I found time to plan, I was able to enjoy my day.”

Elkins isn’t just a gorgeous space that makes your wedding easy, though. They’re diverse, too! Elkins Resort on Priest Lake caters weddings from seventy-five to three hundred people. Providing food and beverages for your guests is a large part of the planning process, and isn’t always easy. Catering costs begin at $30.00 per person and vary depending on your tastes and budget, ensuring that everyone will find an option that fits into their budget.
The accommodations at Elkins Resort on Priest Lake consist of 30 individual cabins, with a lodging capacity of 200 people. The cabins range in size, sleeping between two and fourteen people. Each cabin has a full kitchen, bathroom, and living area. Most have fireplaces and views of the lake. Your wedding day just became a full wedding weekend of festivities!
For this winter bride, Elkins was an easy choice because of the summers she spent their growing up. But her groom has never been there! “Elkin’s has a special place in my heart for me and my family. I grew up coming to Elkin’s every summer…Lucky for me, once my husband saw Elkin’s and its charm, he didn’t need any convincing. We both love winter and hate being hot, so January in Northern Idaho (or Antarctica as our guests fondly call it) was set!”
