Planning Tips

Recent events (ahem, COVID-19), may have you rethinking the size of your wedding. State-wide shutdowns have unfortunately caused many couples to cancel, reschedule, or rethink their entire nuptial plans. If current times or uncertainty about the future have you dreaming of a private elopement, a microwedding, or an intimate family affair, a few personal touches will go a long way. Try incorporating these three things into your intimate wedding to make it feel extra special.

Craft Personal Vows

When the crowd is smaller, there's less pressure reciting intimate vows. Take the time to craft personal notes to one another and it will bring the focus back to the reason you want to get married in the first place. Need inspiration? Start with your soon-to-be-spouse's favorite movies or songs. You'd be surprised at how they'll get the creative juices flowing!

Get Dressed Up For The Occasion

Whether you're saying "I do" over Zoom, heading to a courthouse, or exchanging vows in your backyard, put on something fancy! It doesn't have to be new (something borrowed, anyone?), but it will give the event a feeling of importance and respect if you dress to the nines for one another.

Hire A Talented Photographer + Videographer

When not all of your loved ones can be with you to celebrate, pictures and videos will be absolutely priceless. Even if they can't be physically present, they can still relive all of the highlights and share in all of the love if you invest in a quality photographer and videographer. Looking for inspiration?
