Reader Wedding By Free To Live Photography

 March 21, 2014

It’s always a special treat when we get to share the wedding of one of our readers, and this one is no exception! Lindsay and Chris’ big day was a gorgeous family affair, captured by Free to Live Photography. Their ceremony and reception took place at Lindsay’s parents’ home set atop a cliff that overlooked Riverside State park. Her parents actually made the wine and beer for the wedding! How awesome is that?! Here is what Lindsay had to say about the big day: Chris and I had an “Old Hollywood” theme to our wedding. Guests enjoyed cocktails with the musical melodies of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin & Ella Fitzgerald to name a few, playing in the background under a big white tent. It was the perfect August day! It had poured the day before, and the morning of the wedding, then at noon the clouds opened up to beautiful blue skies, and eighty degree weather.

Lindsay’s advice for the brides on their wedding day: “At some point during the reception, step away from everyone, and take a moment for yourself to soak everything in. The day goes by so quickly! I stepped away after all the toasts, formal dances, cake cutting, etc was over. I stood off in the distance and just watched all my friends and family dancing & catching up over cocktails. Everyone was so happy, and enjoying themselves. It was a moment in my life that I will never forever cherish.” Vendors Photographer: Free to Live Photography Catering: The Mason Jar, in Cheney, Wa Florist: Sunset Florist Tent & Table Rental: A to Z Rentals Music Band: The Rub Make-up: Bride Hair: Kristen Lawson from Seattle, Wa Wedding dress: Marcella’s Bridal Bridesmaid dresses: Nordstrom  Tuxedo’s: Men’s Warehouse
