We love a good high school sweetheart story, especially one ending in a beautiful wedding like Steven and Jordan’s! This couple wanted their day to be personal and meaningful; a perfect combination that makes the best weddings. The reception took place at Le Chateau in Yakima and the talented Kira Baron Photography was there to take the pictures. Here is what Jordan had to say about their big day: “Steven and I were high school sweethearts and finally were married this June after dating 6.5 years. I had a long time to plan this wedding so it was nice when the day finally came to put those plans into action. We did a lot of things on our own and looked for ways to save money everywhere we could. All of the bouquets and the arrangements at the reception were made by my mother and close friends. My bouquet was wrapped with lace from Stevens moms wedding dress, a brooch of my mothers, and a picture of my father who passed away two summers ago. It was very important to have him there with us in some way. Holding on to all of these as I walked down the aisle made it even that much more special. The day turned out perfect and the reception was absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for anything better!”
