Wedding trends come and go, but we are convinced that farm tables are here to stay. They lend themselves well to any type of decor, from rustic to industrial to classic. They foster a feeling of family, warmth, and sharing. Lucky for us, we have an amazing local farm table company that can provide anything you need for your wedding, from the ceremony to your reception, no matter if your event is big or small. We sat down with Spokane Farm Tables to learn a bit more about how they can be a part of your big day.
Tell us a little about Spokane Farm Tables and how your tables and benches are crafted. Spokane Farm Tables is a small, local family business made up of husband and wife team: Rion and Diana Ithomits. Diana is a wedding & event planner for Agape Events, and over the years has styled numerous events with farm tables. Luckily, her husband Rion is a handy guy with free time. He hand build each table in 2013 and since then the trend of wood farm tables has grown and grown.
Photo by Park Road Photography Do your tables and benches work for ceremonies and receptions? Yes! We regularly set benches for guest seating at a ceremony, then the family and bridal party can transition the benches to the reception area for dinner seating!
Photo by Park Road Photography What types of weddings do your tables and benches work for? All types. We have seen the tables work at a casual beach wedding, in a barn for a rustic reception, and even in a conference room for a business event. The farm table is super versatile and works perfectly for family styled seating.
Tell us some ways a bride might decorate farm tables/benches for her big day. How can she make them work for different wedding styles/locations? Lace and burlap runners look amazing for a romantic rustic look, and greenery makes the table look extra classy for a chic modern feel. We have seen clients use no centerpiece to keep the farm feel, or do really fancy gold chargers and lots of bling to create a formal sophisticated outdoor look.
Photo by Park Road Photography What are the rental costs for farm tables/benches? Do you deliver/setup/pickup? Each table is $65 each, and each bench cost $15 each. When renting the table with 2 benches (seating for 8 guests ) we call it a set and give a discount at $85 per set.
