My oh my do we have something unique and delightful to share with you today! Not only is this River Run Inn Wedding sent to us by the talented Alisa Lewis Event Design downright lovely it’s kind of a two in one deal. One part pre-wedding adventure the other part intimate wedding. We’ll let Alisa explain:

“This wedding was a destination wedding in Winthrop, WA. The guests and bride and groom traveled from all over the northwest to join together for this special weekend. The bride & groom reserved River Run Inn for 3 days and made an entire weekend event for their small and intimate guest list. The weekend began with guests checking into their rooms and cabins, enjoying the river, the pool, and the short walk to downtown Winthrop. Everyone took part in the Friday rehearsal dinner. Then the next day Lisa & Phil began their wedding day with an early morning hot air balloon ride through the Methow Valley. They returned to the inn and all of their family and friends began with the wedding prep and set up. A few friends collected flowers from the farmers marked that morning and collected wild baby’s breath from the valley area. It was truly a family affair and everyone was so cheery and jovial as they all helped prepare the flowers, desserts, decorations, and ceremony for the evening. It was a very relaxed and leisurely day for everyone! Lisa & Phil had a very small and intimate ceremony officiated by a close friend. They wrote their own vows, exchanged rings, and paid a tribute to family and friends. The night continued with delicious local and seasonal food prepared by Sunflower Catering. Lisa’s brother maintained the bar and more family and friends helped with desserts. The Attic and Alisa Lewis Event Design assisted with the wedding planning a year in advance, the weekend set up, itineraries for guests, farm tables, chairs, table top decor, styling, and day of coordination. The final day after the wedding, the group shared a community breakfast prepared by Lisa’s mom. Then everyone helped with the clean up and loading up and the weekend was over but surely an event to remember.”
